On the Fourth of July, we celebrate not only America’s birthday but also the birth of our nation’s founding ideals and set forth in the Declaration of Independence.

On July 4, 1776, the Second Continental Congress met to approve Thomas Jefferson’s revolutionary statement “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Ever since that first July Fourth, Americans have worked to fulfill the promise of freedom embodied in the Declaration of  Independence.  First, the colonists had to fight a seven-year war of independence; then the principles of equality and freedom were tested and forged in the fire of Civil War.  In the 20th century, our ideals were again tested and strengthened by two world wars, the Great Depression, and the successive struggles for equal rights for all Americans.

In the 21st century, the Declaration of Independence continues to inspire those all around the world who
struggle for freedom and democracy — while spurring us here at home to create a perfect Union by extending the blessings of liberty to all.

Why this name POISON APPLE?

Capitalism without the Heart = Greed and Greed = The Poison Apple!!

When WordPress.com took off my blog http://www.dearmmlee.wordpress.com without informing me I was devastated and lost!! With the blessing from Almighty God all my articles saved in the nick of time Somehow I read it as a sign that I got to separate the political contents and from my personal stuff thus I got 2 blogs now. http://www.dearmmlee.com for my personal stuff and http://www.palestinebedrockoftheworld.com for the political contents.

I am still walking the spiritual journey which means when I received an email to request me to bit the domain name israelpleasewakeup this was the sign that I needed to create a new blog. But I refused to do so because too much work and I could not be bothered to spend so much time to make it happened. But when half of the articles were gone from www.palestinebedrockoftheworld.com I know it was time for me to dedicate the new blog to the Zionist Jews and especially when I received such a nasty mail from my fellow Singaporean!

Because israelpleasewakwup is too mild to my ears hence I have decided to name the new blog,  http://www.thepoisonappleoftheworld.com because of late in my mind I saw a red apple and this RED APPLE IS POISONOUS!! And ISRAEL Is the Poisonous Apple!



This was the email that convinces me I should create another new blog.

I did some research on your menu items disappearing. In short and in layman term, it’s a security and housekeeping design in the software that’s preventing you from doing up a super long menu and unfortunately causing half your menu to disappear. The bad news is the menu items are really gone, can’t retrieve them. The articles are still there.

Side note from the experts: “I don’t actually recommend approaching 100 menu items, even in a mega menu. The general rule of thumb is that having more than 100 links on a page can have a negative impact on search engine optimization (meaning Google may give you lesser ranking for your pages or even blacklist or penalize you for it). Plus, presenting a user with 100 options is generally overkill, and you should probably be rethinking the navigation on your site to make it more user-friendly”

While I have requested for Readyspace to perform some server configuration that will allow you to add more menu items, I still strongly encourage you to re-think the menu as it doesn’t make sense that this menu keep on growing longer and longer as you add in new articles.

You’re probably having the idea that you need to build a link to the menu each time you write a new article. This is not necessary. The way a user browse a blog is very different from when visiting a corporate website. You can just keep posting, your right-hand menu probably only needs to show your latest 5 ~7 article links (there’s a widget that does that automatically so you don’t even need to build the links). Users will use the search, tags, or archive links if they want to read more articles on your site.

In conclusion, just don’t worry and lose sleep over the loss of the menu items. I think it’s a blessing in disguise that helps you to move on and improve your site just like what happened the last time for your DEARMMLee WordPress blog.
