Rashid Khalidi, Columbia University Professor and prolific historian of the Palestinian struggle for statehood, joined the Center for Middle East Studies for a series of talks on October 24 and 25. This video is from his evening lecture given on October 24, entitled “American Mediation between Israel and the Palestinians: First Time as Tragedy, Second Time as Farce?” He is introduced by Andrea Stanton, Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at DU and Prof. Khalidi’s former advisee.
